Polaroid has a new pocket sized printer designed to give you a hardcopy of your cellphone snaps. It is USB connected or Bluetooth.

Polaroid has touted the device as its biggest innovation since the commercial launch of instant film in 1948.ed.z.: Sort of spiffy! Now I wonder when this tech will be a phone as well, eliminate toting two gadgets.

In the United States it's being called the Polaroid Pogo, and will be at Best Buys on July 6 or Targets on July 20th.

And there's the hard hack project!

The "openmokopogo" all in one handheld unit. Next up, the practical battery belt, probably with suspenders backup to hold the weight. I am thinking something that looks like the old sixgun cartridge belt, the rounds are the individual battery cells, and the holster holds your...that thing I just said..
